Starting from version 9, you can use files and folders from cloud locations or FTP/SFTP servers as backup sources.

• Free backup plugin

You can load plugins to back up or restore specific program settings or other custom data (such as game saves, email data, etc.). The plugin is actually an XML file that, once imported into Backup4all, adds predefined backups.

Currently, 228 free backup plugins are available. You can load these contents in Backup4all to make it easier to back up specific applications and datasets.

• Incremental backup

Backup4all can be backed up using the incremental backup type. Incremental backup provides a faster data backup method than running a full backup. During incremental backups, only files that have changed since the last backup are included. Its advantage is that it takes the shortest time to complete.

Remote monitoring backup

Backup4all Monitor provides real-time and historical monitoring of the operations performed by Backup4all on remote computers. You can remotely monitor backup/test/restore and cleanup job operations from any client computer with Backup4all installed.

Backup4all Monitor has two components:

The server collects monitoring information sent to it from all client computers that have Backup4all installed and configured to send data. The server can be installed on your own network or on cloud servers such as Amazon S3/Azure.

The dashboard provides a graphical user interface for analyzing data stored and managed by the Backup4all monitoring server. It can be installed on the same computer as the monitoring server or on a different computer because it can connect remotely. The dashboard is available for free use.
